However, there are a few important points that most people looking for a fake driver's license don't know regarding templates:

1 - The posting or selling of state photo id templates is illegal. Most websites that would sell you a state's template know that their templates look nothing like the real thing, because by law they must look very fake for them to stay in business. They know this, yet they will sell you a worthless id anyway.

2 - Even if you were to find a free download for a given state, let's say for example California, that was spot on - you'll still never have the right hologram! Nearly every US state now has holograms on the external laminate of the id. Holograms are extremely expensive and difficult to make, and sites selling fake ids with holograms know that their holograms are simply put, pathetic.

3 - A lot of people think that they can just get fake ids from another state to fool local bartenders. However, any bartender or doorman that has at least five brain cells can spot these a mile away. There's even a book restaurants and bars order that shows exactly what every state's id should look like! If you were ever even considering ordering a fake id from one of these sites (or trying to make your own from a template), I highly recommend you try to get yourself a copy of this book and compare what the real thing looks like to some website's id.
